RSW Started in Fiuggi

I was born and raised in Fiuggi, a wellness resort town about 50 miles from Rome.
Known since ancient times for its volcanic spring water, Fiuggi has long been celebrated for its ability
to cleanse and heal, particularly for kidney ailments.
Today, its mineral springs offer purification and wellness to locals and visitors alike.

Fiuggi water is a natural, oligomineral spring water
has a soft, neutral taste and is diuretic, detoxifying, and purifying,
making it a popular choice for wellness enthusiasts and those seeking natural remedies for kidney-related ailments.
Fiuggi water is often consumed as part of therapeutic spa treatments or wellness programs
and is bottled at the source to preserve its natural qualities.

Fiuggi’s reputation as a wellness destination dates back to the Roman Empire

when its natural springs attracted notable figures seeking health benefits

Famous ancient visitors:
Emperor Augustus relied on the waters to ease digestive and kidney issues.
Emperor Tiberius was drawn to Fiuggi for improved health and longevity.
Cicero, the statesman, and philosopher, often praised the springs in his writings.
Various Roman aristocrats and military leaders sought rejuvenation at Fiuggi’s mineral waters.

Throughout history, Fiuggi has maintained its allure. Legendary figures have testified to the healing powers of its springs:
In the 14th century,
Pope Boniface VIII
credited Fiuggi water with curing his kidney stones.
Michelangelo famously said the water cured him of a "stone I couldn’t love."

More recent Fiuggi wellness seekers captivated by the rejuvenating waters,
some international stars have embraced Fiuggi’s healing retreats:

Writers:
Gabriele D’Annunzio, Luigi Pirandello, Truman Capote,
 Henry James,
Ignazio Silone, Thomas Mann

Celebrities:
Oprah Winfrey declared her 2023 stay at Palazzo Fiuggi “the best spa experience of her life.”
Mick Jagger, Sharon Stone, George Clooney, Brad PittCatherine Zeta-Jones,  and Roberto Rossellini
Iconic figures like Anthony Quinn, Sophia Loren, Ingrid Bergman,
Pablo Picasso, Princess Diana, and Brigitte Bardot also visited.

Fiuggi even played a pivotal role in history. During World War I,
it hosted key negotiations leading to the 1915 Fiuggi Agreement, signed in London
shaping Italy’s involvement in the war.

From its ancient legacy to its modern wellness resorts, Fiuggi remains
a destination where history, health, and luxury converge,
where the past and present unite to restore and inspire.
